Oxbow’s NEW CSA for 2019!
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program! There couldn’t be a more fitting day to share the news with you – it’s also #CSADay, and farms across country are celebrating what it means to support local agriculture, build community, and connect with your food.
How does Oxbow’s new CSA work?
Our new “Market Style” CSA offers flexibility and choice in how you choose to put fresh food on the table, while giving you more opportunities to connect directly with your farm.
What’s a Market Style CSA? Instead of receiving a pre-packed box, Shareholders visit our CSA Farm Stand and U-Pick fields every week to choose the exact items that they need based on what’s in season. If you need extra carrots or want to double up on lettuce, you can! If you don’t need any more summer squash, you can skip it!

CSA Shareholders can U-Pick, too!
If you’re a CSA Shareholder or an Oxbow Member, you get exclusive access to U-Pick items like:
- Raspberries & orchard fruit
- Green beans & sugar snap peas
- Herbs, 11 varieties of flowers, and more!
When & Where: The season runs for 20 weeks from June 26th through November 6th, and pickup/U-pick is on Wednesdays from 3PM-7PM at our farm in Carnation.
Investment: $550, or 3 payments of $185. That’s about $27.50 a week for the freshest local produce around!
Early bird discount: When you pay for the full season up front, get $25 off through March 25th.
Is there delivery? Nope! While delivered, pre-packed CSA boxes are convenient for many, our shift to a Market Style CSA gets back to the roots of true Community Supported Agriculture. It’s important to us that our CSA is about connecting to your farmers, to the soil, and to a community of people who care about how and where their food is grown (in addition to getting loads of fresh veggies each week!).
What other benefits are there for CSA Shareholders?
Lots, including FREE admission to Oxbow Saturdays, special Shareholder events, an Oxbow tote and U-Pick “busket,” and more!
