Oxbow is proud to be a partner farm with Farms for Life, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping connect farmers with agencies Just working to feed hungry populations.

Farms for Life’s mission is three-fold: The organization works with disadvantaged communities to provide healthy food and offer nutrition education for people wanting to make healthier choices, all while supporting local agriculture. As a partner farm, Oxbow sells produce to Farms for Life at a slightly reduced rate. This relationship not only helps us meet our bottom line, but helps Farms for Life’s food dollars go further.

According to its website, Farms for Life works with the residential agencies to provide education in preparing and cooking the fresh vegetables we provide. Check out the most recent newsletter to read about more about Farms for Life’s work, including volunteer opportunities.
