Join us on Saturday, April 17, from 10AM-3PM as we celebrate International Bat Appreciation Day! The event is free to attend, but please pre-register at EventBrite.

Join Oxbow’s Education team for fun, hands-on activities for kids of all ages! Drop in for a scavenger hunt, see what’s sprouting up on the Kids’ Farm, hop on the Climbing Tractor, and explore the Living Playground.
Stellaluna Story Times
Enjoy an outdoor reading of Stellaluna, Janell Cannon’s classic children’s book about a young fruit bat.
Story times are offered at 10:30AM and 11:00AM – group capacity is limited. After registering at EventBrite, you’ll receive a link to sign up separately for a story time slot. Parents/guardians may accompany little ones!
Take a relaxed, self-guided walk on our network of trails and see Oxbow’s wetlands, farm fields, forests, and kid-friendly spaces to explore and play! Download a Trail Map here.
Chef Seth Fernald returns to highlight seasonal Oxbow veggies and other locally-produced food in a delicious farm lunch. Offered 11–2PM at Oxbow’s outdoor kitchen. Meals can be purchased at the outdoor kitchen.
Stop by the Farm Stand and bring home a tasty selection of fresh organic produce and native plants grown right at Oxbow’s Native Plant Nursery. The Farm Stand will be open from 10AM-4PM.
